Razzle Dazzle

Starline Competition
January 2008

My daughter has blossomed into someone I almost don't recognize sometimes. Taylor recently auditioned for Starline, the competition dance team she participated in last year. This year, however, there were outside judges. She walked in with an amazing amount of confidence and poise. When I anxiously asked how things went, she reported, "Fine." (The parents were not allowed to observe.)

Things did, indeed, go "fine" . . . Taylor is now an official member of "Dazzle," the advanced Starline competition dance team for grades 1-3. Am I proud of her accomplishment? Absolutely! Am I living vicariously through her since I never had the guts to do anything that required standing in front of another human being to be judged? Without a doubt! I hope to be just like her when I grow up!

Oh to be able to dress someone up in something shiny and pink - she looks awesome and she is awesome, just like her Mom! You'll have to post video of future performances!
