First Day of School

I just returned from the emergency room at our local hospital. Don't worry -- everything's fine. I just have a mild muscle sprain from doing back flips after dropping Taylor off for her first day of school!

In all seriousness, although I'm glad to have a 6-hour reprieve from the bickering, I've got that "pit" in my stomach feeling. I can't believe my baby started second grade today. If the first few years have gone by this quickly, what am I in for in the years to come?

P.S. I waited to post this until I received the day's report from Taylor. I asked her what the best part of her day was, and she said, "Playing toss the monkey." Hmmmm . . . would that be considered social studies, science or math?
